Kellan has officially been bottle and formula free for 24 hours. I would love to know how much we have spent on formula over the last 5 years, with 3 children. OK, I don't think I really want to know. I know it is a whole lot. Kellan has been our first child who could take powder formula. With Kyler and Kole we had to use ready made so that was well over $40 a week. We should have stock in Similac :). Kellan has done so good with his sippy cup and whole milk. He officially took his last bottle a week before his first birthday. Good job big boy! It is bittersweet. No bottle means no baby anymore. I will post more on Kellan's first birthday later. In the mean time, I will go enjoy the extra money we aren't spending on formula and baby food :)!!

Wow, now that you guys are rich what will you do with all that extra dough? Some how you find away to make it disappear. That is so good. I held on to the night bottle for Lawson until he was almost 14 months not so much for him but for me. In my mind it kept him a baby longer.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah for you - now get rid of diapers and you'll be a millionair!!! Ok, not really, but it feels like it at the time!
I hear ya!!! I love being bottle and formula free too, but yes, it is bittersweet. Yesterday I was changing Mason's diaper (as I do everyday) and I thought about how I'd been changing diapers for 6 years now. It's funny when you think about it how accustomed you to grow to doing things like that.
