Today we had a family birthday party for Kellan since my sister, from Houston, and her family were in town. We had a great time. We got a little cake for Kellan and he decided to eat the whole thing. It was hilarious! My other kids didn't have much to do with their birthday cakes at 1 because they didn't know what was going on. Once Kellan tasted it he couldn't stop. He got lots of fun toys and had a great day. I will post more about my one year old on his official birthday on Wednesday.
While Amy and her fam were in town they stayed at a hotel (since we are a little short of rooms around here). The kids enjoyed a couple of nights of swimming with their cousins at the hotel. They couldn't understand why they couldn't spend the night at the hotel.

I love it Kellan is so cute with his birthday crown! Fun Family times. I just love summer b/c it the only time we can spend weeks at a time with family. Can't wait to see more pics on Wednesday.
