This time of year really makes me start thinking about all I have to be thankful for. God has blessed me with more than I could ever imagine. I know there are so many out there that can't have gifts under their tree for Christmas and so many children without moms and dads. I take for granted daily all that I have. I am blessed with two beautiful, healthy children. I have been blessed to be able to have children which I definitely take for granted. I am blessed with a husband that I still love and loves me. I see too many couples that are just companions after so many years of marriage and don't really love each other any more. I never want to be that couple. I am blessed with my health and the health of those I love. I am blessed with a wonderful family that I can share Christmas with and so many other memories. I could go on and on with my dear friends and church family. I know this is starting to sound like a Thanksgiving post instead of a Christmas post, but I think we all just need to remember that there are people out there that don't have family or money to buy gifts and this can be a really hard time of year for those people. So, as we are busy during the holidays with shopping, parties, and family time, make it a point to make a difference in someone else's life. You never know whose holiday you might make a little brighter by just letting them have that parking spot or saying "Merry Christmas" in a long line. From our house to yours we wish you the merriest.
