My pediatrician finally thinks it is time for an ENT appointment. I took Kole to the Dr this afternoon because his boy part was really red and really bothering him. Come to find out he has a strep infection down there, poor buddy. While we were there she checked his ears and he has, oh yes you guessed it, another ear infection. That is 9 since December so we have an ENT consult on May 22. I just want my little guy to be happy. He is just always fussy because he doesn't feel good for more than like 2 days. So pray for our little guys ears and his boy part to all get better soon. This sounds horrible but I don't want his ears to get too perfect because it really seems like he needs tubes. That's our medical update for today.
DISCLAIMER: I HATE PEOPLE WHO CONSTANTLY FOCUS ON THE NEGATIVE SO I DO NOT WANT TO COME ACROSS THAT WAY AT ALL WITH ALL OF KOLE'S HEALTH ISSUES. WE ARE VERY BLESSED! IT IS JUST AMAZING HOW YOUR CHILDREN CAN BE COMPLETE OPPOSITES. WITH KYLER I BARELY COULD REMEMBER TO TAKE HER TO GET HER IMMUNIZATIONS BECAUSE SHE WAS NEVER SICK AND NEVER WENT TO THE DR. WITH KOLE EVERY WEEK IS A NEW CHALLENGE AT THE DR'S OFFICE.

That is so interesting...we have the exact same story about our children. Kyle goes to the doctor tomorrow. He got a diaper rash and it's getting worse no matter what we do, and now he has a cold. I know he has another ear infection. I'm about ready to ask for a referral. I too sympathize with you, b/c you just want him to feel better. Madi was the same way as Kyler. She has been so healthy. We only had one ear infection and she was already 2 when it happened. I hope you guys get some relief soon. I hope we do too!
I had to comment again...I didn't know that you could, or boys, or whoever could get a strep infection down there? Amoxcillin does nothing for us either. We haven't ever done that other one you said. We've also done Keflex and Augmentin. 6 kids???? I'm beginning to wonder how people handle 3!

I hope your ENT appointment goes well. I know what you mean about not wanting his ears to be too perfect when the doctor sees him. That is what happened to us! The doctor looked in Will's ears and said they looked crystal clear! I couldn't believe it because he has been so sick. Hopefully you will get some answers soon. I'll be praying for you and Kole.

Poor Buddy Kole. I love that guy. He has every right to be down right angry and mean if his boy part is sick and he is always sweet. I love that him!
