Man, time is flying by. Every week before I know it, it is Friday! That means my kids are getting older and bigger right before my eyes. This week Kyler and Kole had their first dental experience. We went to the neatest pediatric dentist. They have theatre seats in the lobby and cartoons on and a puppet stage. When you go in they put sunglasses on the kids and let them play game boys. Such good ideas to ease the anxiety. Then at the end they give the kids tokens and they can buy a toy with the tokens.
The kids have wanted to go back all week. Such a good experience other than Kyler is going to have to have a minor dental procedure in December and she will have to be put under. She has really deep crevices in her teeth and no matter how much you brush it doesn't get all the gunk out so over time there has been cavities and now she needs crowns, eight to be precise. Lovely! I felt like the worst parent but the dentist made me feel so much better and said there is nothing I could have done.
I cannot believe Kellan is about to be three months. Where has the time gone? He is developing quite the personality. He smiles and coos all of the time and he loves to be talked to. He is doing great. Last night I fed him at 7:30 and didn't have to feed him again until 6:00 this morning. Thank you God for a laid back third child. It makes life so much easier!

I need to know who that dentist is, because Madi has some fear of going to the dentist, but she needs to!
Thanks for what you said. I teared up. I know I have every right to feel that way. It's probably a good thing I don't own a gun, or have a really heavy foot when driving, or anything else like that. The other day I was listening to the radio and the guy was talking about this couple getting divorced and he said, "yeah they have a special place in hell for her". That's really horrible, but oh how I can relate to that! I just laughed really hard. It will all get better, just one step at a time.
I know how you feel. Bryson has a couple of cavities and we are going to have to have him put under just to get those filled. He would not be able to handle the drill. I still have not made the appt. to have it done. Talk about bad Mom.......But, our kids love Jesus, that is more important than teeth, right!?!
Sorry, to hear about Kyler and her teeth. We had to have Brylie's four cavities done last spring.
Which was all due to us, letting her have milk in her sippy cup, if she woke up in the middle of the night.
She did great and didn't even know that she got a shot or that they were even working on her teeth. She was so sedated. All she remembers is the Ariel CD she listen to and the movie she watched.
Will you e-mail me the dentist you went to? ours does not do kids under 5 and we REALLY need to take Ty and Liv. Your kids are SO cute!
