Hard to tell, but that is the baby's arm up at the face and the baby is sucking his/her thumb.
Profile of the whole baby.Well, we had a sonogram today to make sure there was only one baby. There was only one, healthy baby, with two arms and two legs and a heart beat. I am quite big this pregnancy and they just wanted to make sure there was only one in there. Thankfully there was. I know God had a plan either way but it is a lot less stressful thinking of one baby versus two. We are very blessed and thankful. The baby was already sucking his/her thumb and he/she is a kicker. The baby was all over the place. We are thankful! We find out in 8 weeks what we are having. Any bets?!?

I can totally tell you what you are having if you can give me the very first heart rate that you heard. The higher, above 160, a girl, the lower, a boy. This held true for my MIL who had four, girl and then boy.......and so on. Also held true for me. Dr. Divine said its not %100 because there have been low girls and vise/versa but for the most part it tends to hold true!
Praise God for a healthy baby either way!
