Special Surprises . . .

I cannot believe I forgot to mention in my last post what a wonderful surprise I had when I came home from Midland. My wonderful husband had cleaned the whole house. I'm not just talking picked up. He dusted, cleaned the bathroom counters, bathtubs, toilets, and resolved and vacuumed the carpet. As most of you know, my husband is extra clean but I don't think I have ever gotten this nice of a surprise. He actually dusted! How blessed am I?!? I had our ladies bible study over at our house on Monday night and it was so nice on Monday not to have to run around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get everything clean.

The other wonderful blessing right now is Kole is going on 5 weeks without an ear infection! He is a new child. Life is so much easier now and I can actually enjoy more time with Kyler and Kole instead of being in Dr's offices 2x a week. Also, Kole just turned 21 months and he is determined he thinks he should be using the big boy potty. He is so disturbed when he is about to go "peep" or "poop". He has sat on the potty several times this week but has yet to actually go but I am just amazed he is even interested. Kyler was very close to 3 before she decided she was interested and I heard boys were harder to potty train. It is crazy to me that Kole is showing this much interest so soon. We will see what the future holds. He is a stinker!

Way to go Mike!! That's so sweet of him. And it even seems in the pictures that Kole is happier. I'm so glad the tubes seemed to have worked!

What a great husband! Brice even called him on Sunday to see if he wanted to come hang out, but he said he was just going to stay home so he could clean up before y'all got home. How nice!

And that's great about Kole already wanting to potty train. I'm sure he remembers what fun Kyler had trying to potty train! Maybe you should bust out the headphones! :)

Mike is such a good guy! It is the best feeling in the world to walk into a clean house!

I am so glad Kole is feeling better. He probably thinks he is the biggest boy in the world right now being able to hear so much better, sleep better, and just feel better. What an answer to prayer!
