You know you are a mom when . . .

10. You leave Barney/Dora DVD going in the car even when your kids aren't in the car.
9. You head for the free cookies at the grocery store no matter if your kids are with you or not.
8. You grab the desitin instead of the toothpaste.
7. You cannot go to sleep without checking on your kids first.
6. You cry more happy tears than sad just because you are so amazed by how great they are.
5. Going potty is no longer private. In fact, nothing will ever be private again but you are ok with that.
4. You use Johnson's baby shampoo rather than soap when you bath.
3. Trees, flowers, and bird poop are more amazing than you ever thought possible (oh the eyes of a 3 year old).
2. A simple 3 year old's prayer teaches you more than you have learned in 28 years.
1. Your child's hug can light up your world and your child's tears can break your heart into a million pieces.

There is nothing that has blessed my life more than having children. I really try to remember my life sometimes before I had them and it really is a blur. Every decision or move I make now I always have Kole and Kyler in mind. Today after I dropped the kids off at Mother's Day Out I was listening to Barney and didn't even realize it for like an hour. Their world quickly became mine and my life will never be the same, but there is nowhere in the world I'd rather be. Thank you God for allowing me to be a mother.

With kids like yours who wouldn't love motherhood. They are angels.

ok...Now I am acting too much like my sister and crying! I loved this post! I look forward to everything that you talked about. I don't even know you and I can tell how much of a wonderful Mom you are! I love how at the end you Thanked God for you kids. This is something that I do every day with Britten....and I can't imagine having a day where I am just not so blown away by her (and overwhelmed with love and joy) that I forget to do this! Isn't motherhood wonderful?
